Participation in personnel measures

In order to ensure equal opportunities in application processes for administrative employees and academic staff, the Equal Opportunities Officer must be involved. Therefore, you will find a schedule below that enables a successful recruitment process:

  • 1. Every new position to be filled must be advertised at least publicly at the university (see "Guidelines for job advertisement and subsequent selection procedure" (in German)). You will find templates for job advertisements of the HR department here (in German).

  • 2. The Equal Opportunities Officer must be informed in advance of all job advertisements, including their text and publication, so that there is an opportunity to comment in good time. Consent to the job advertisement can be given by email or using the form "Viewing note for job advertisements"/"Sichtvermerk bei Stellenausschreibungen" on this website (in German).

  • 3. After approval of the job advertisement, the text can be published.

  • 4. After the application deadline, please send a message to the Equal Opportunities Officer and inform her that the applications received can be viewed.

  • 5. Before invitations to job interviews are sent to the selected applicants, please send a list of those to be invited and the interview dates to the Equal Opportunities Officer. If there are any discrepancies, she will contact you.

  • 6. Job interviews: If possible, the Equal Opportunities Officer will attend the interview.

  • 7. Forward the "Application for the implementation of a personnel law measure" (signed by the head of the organisation) including the "Checklist for the organisation for the advertisement and recruitment procedure" to the Equal Opportunities Officer so that consent to recruitment can be confirmed by signature.

  • 8. Recruitment of the applicant.
