Computers in the Iranian Studies
Anyone writing a paper or letter in Persian in Iranian studies will quickly stumble across a few problems on the computer.
In this compilation, we would like to show you possible solutions to the most common problems. For example, we will address the entry of special characters in the transcription, the problem of "slipped" punctuation marks at the end of a line, but also the sometimes confusing navigation within a line with mixed writing systems (such as فارسی-German).
You will also find information on Persian TrueType fonts and contact points for Persian-language help pages on the Internet.
